The assignment is creating a video for #LegendsofHorror.  First off, I had to take some footage.  I visited Casa Loma and took a good number of pics and video clips to work with later.

I used my Samsung S6 to take the pics and vids.  It worked out well, but make sure you start with a full battery for maximum life.  I just had enough, without any battery backup.

Once I had media to work with, I used Microsoft Photos to edit the video.  Open up Photos and select create a new video project

Select the first video or picture you want to work with.  It doesn’t have to be first or last…you can move it around in any order later.

Edit your pic or video for length, add any filters and or text.  Once you are happy, move on to the next pic or video and repeat the process.  Photos keeps track of the overall time.

For my video, I used native video clips, edited pics with motion filters, text, background effects and themed sound.   All of these effects are found within Photos.

Finish editing your video then download the file to your server.  Publish and voila!  You are a video publisher.

Creating video is an increasingly important way for brands to reach and engage with their audiences.  Video is growing in popularity on all platforms.  More content will be needed!
